Van's the man for the programme
Van Morrison gets the, if you will, rockumentary treatment on January 21 courtesy of that other Belfast boy and former Hot Press scribe Stuart Bailie.
Airing at 10.35pm on BBC Northern Ireland TV, Vanscapes: How The East Was Sung uses Morrison as a launch-pad from which to explore the city's musical heritage and landmarks like Cyprus Avenue, St. Donald's Church and Orangefiled School.
Also contributing to the programme are Thin Lizzy founder member Eric Bell, Good Vibrations supremo Terri Hooley and BBC broadcaster John Bennett.
