Van Morrison buys Windmill Lane Studios
Hotpress.com can exclusively reveal that Van Morrison has bought Dublin’s Windmill Lane Studios.
Contacted today, Windmill Lane’s Andrew Bolland confirmed that, “Yes, it’s true”, but was unable to go into specifics.
Morrison, who’s gigging this week in Canada, is well acquainted with Windmill having recorded such recent albums as Back On Top, Magic Time and Pay The Devil there. Other famous clients include Kylie, Elvis Costello, Sinéad O’Connor and U2.
It’s not yet known whether Van intends to retain the studio for his own exclusive use, or will continue to run it as a commercial operation.
