User Friendly Fire
Leesiders rip it up, ugly-beautiful style
If the untimely demise of both Hot Snakes and Far has left you yearning for an act to assume the mantle of post-hardcore heroes, then look no further than Cork’s Hope Is Noise. User Friendly Fire is their second record and it’s a bloodthirsty, ugly-as-an-open wound piece of work that offers catharsis by way of punk rock riffs and impassioned vocals. While the band have (for some unknown reason) yet to get the mainstream acclaim they deserve, this album could not only see them get their dues in Ireland, but on a worldwide scale. Inspiring stuff.
Key Track: ‘We Need Another Generation To Die’
