U2 tribute act Zooropa to play Dublin's Button Factory
The performance takes place the night before the real thing take the stage at Croke Park.
If you didn't manage to get a ticket for U2's sold out Joshua Tree gig at Croke Park , not to worry, as Dublin's greatest tribute act will play in the Button Factory on July 21. Zooropa will be performing some U2 favourites to celebrate the hotly anticipated live return of Bono, The Edge and co.
In association with the Irish Rock 'N' Roll Museum, The Button Factory will become a "U2 Hub" on the day, welcoming fans from around the world. For those who do go to see Zooropa, hold onto your tickets, as you'll receive a 20% discount on a tour of the Irish Rock'N'Roll Museum.
The real pilgrimage for U2 fans is just around the corner from the Button Factory, in the National Photographic Archive by Writer's Square, where Hot Press has been displaying its own dedication to the band with our "U2 Wall" at the Hot Press Covers Exhibition. The wall documents the rise of the band with dozens of original, signed covers.
Tickets for the Zooropa show are €10 and are available from Eventbrite . Doors open at 7.30pm.
