The eagerly anticipated new album is the band's first major release since 2013’s Changing Of The Seasons EP.
Having spent the whole of their adult lives on a gruelling ‘record-tour-promote’ treadmill, the three school friends from Bangor took a self -imposed break from Two Door Cinema Club. Giving themselves space to discover their identities outside the band, they all realised that for the band to have any future, they needed to alleviate their tensions and battle their various demons.
Dispersing to their homes around the world - Portland for Alex, Los Angeles for Kevin and London for Sam - the band initially began to exchange exciting thoughts and ideas during their break via email. Sketches of tracks and ideas were openly discussed, pulled apart and reassembled from three corners of the world. When the air eventually cleared, the band reconvened in LA with renowned producer Jacknife Lee (REM, U2, Bloc Party) to get in a room together and record a new album.
Just recently, June saw Two Door Cinema Club give us a taster of what that album might be like with their single 'Are we ready? (Wreck)'. Then just last month, they released the magnificent 'Bad Decisions', proving that the in the time that the band has been away, they've grappled with a range of new styles.

Re-energized by their hiatus, Gameshow is a ten-track album that promises to show the band back in their stride, with a creative fire in their loins and a whole new sense of purpose.
