True Tides to play Whelan's
Their new single 'The Answer' is out now, listen below..
True Tides are three brothers; Cian, Conor and Eoghan MacSweeny who have been playing music together their whole lives. They have an energetic sound with a sharp-edged pop dynamic driven by guitars and electronics with layered vocal harmonies at its core.
The band have received rave reviews for their recent high energy performances. They played their first show in January 2018 and signed with Faction Records.
Their song-writing brims with catchy melodies and irresistible hooks. With single ‘Automatic’, co-produced with Chris Bubenzer of Diffusion Lab, they achieved widespread national and local air play and were featured by Hot Press in our August 2018 issue.
They sold out their first headline show in the Soundhouse, Dublin and went on to support All Tvvins at Cork Opera House, Delorentos on their Irish tour and the Coronas for their sold out shows at the Olympia and Ulster Hall, Belfast. And they also played main stage at Castlepalooza and Indiependence Music Festivals and the 2FM Rising stage at Other Voices, Dingle.
The three brothers will play Whelan’s Friday April 26. Tickets cost €17.45 inclusive of booking fee and go on sale this Friday at 9am from Ticketmaster. Furthermore, the Irish indie pop three-piece will play a Belfast show at Voodoo on April 13 along with a bunch of other Irish dates which you can check out in the following tweet.
