Track of the Day: Saoirse's 'Strong'

'Heartfelt', 'warm' and 'honest' are three words that come to mind when listening to Saoirse’s debut song. 'Strong' is another, as she manages to express a fear everyone of us is facing in a single powerful line: “All these decisions, and I can hardly get one right.”

Beautifully combining elements of soul and R&B, the tune commences with smooth guitar chords, before building to a smashing finale that showcases Saoirse's stunning vocals to powerful effect.

Currently studying vocals at BIMM Dublin, the 21-years old has already played Castlepalooza and Electric Picnic, and can next be seen at the one-day Soul Tree Festival in the Sugar Club on July 6.
