Track of the Day: Robocobra Quartet's 'I Shouldn't Have Watched The Film What Lies Beneath (When I Was Twelve)'
Belfast band Robocobra Quartet are about to release their new LP on May 25th of this year, but we have a little taster of what to expect with this weird and wonderful single; 'I Shouldn't Have Watched The Film What Lies Beneath (When I Was Twelve).'
The bands unique sound is an emulsion of modern classical music, hardcore and free jazz and this track shows that concoction at its best, where contractual choral vocal writing is met with a bass riff that could be lifted off a Gorilla Biscuits track.
