Hot Press Track of the Day: Lü Tysky ‘Play’
Lü Tysky has been described as “Psychedelic Pop” and takes inspiration from 60s and 70s psychedelic rock music. Previously, the Dubliner released two albums including Moore Boy in June of 2016 followed by Ferreros Rocher two months later.
‘Play’ is a track off Tysky’s upcoming album Female Friendly which is due later this year. The song opens with the pleasant strumming of an acoustic guitar coupled with mesmerizing tones from a synth. A man and woman harmonize over innocent lyrics about leaving school to sing in the park. The warm hippy vibes are prevalent in this tune, with fitting end of the summer vibes.
