The Thrills ride the airwaves
Thrills fans can tune in to Today FM on Sunday night for an autobiographical radio documentary
You know a band has really made it when articles become cover stories and interviews become radio documentaries. Now The Thrills – Hot Press cover stars of last summer – are telling the story in their own words, with Today FM broadcasting a feature length radio documentary this Sunday, January 25. So you might say the lads have made it.
The feature, 'So Much For The City - The Story of The Thrills', is narrated by Allison Curtis and runs from 9-10pm ahead of her usual programme, The Last Splash.
Expect a thorough lesson in Thrills biography - from the band's humble, not-so-distant beginnings as next-door neighbours in South Dublin, to their widely acclaimed debut album of last year.
The Thrills continue their US jaunt, taking in the chat show circuit and collecting rave live reviews.
