The Spudguns to launch debut single 'Dusty' at Anseo gig this Saturday
Tickets for the launch show are available now
Having already built up a formidable reputation on the live circuit, The Spudguns are gearing up to unveil their debut single, 'Dusty', this Friday. To coincide with the release, the hotly tipped five-piece are playing a launch show at Anseo in Dublin on Saturday, December – with tickets available now.
They'll be supported on the night by Dublin/Derry trio Dumb Posh Hippies, and Cavan band Dirty Marmalade.
A thrilling new force on the Irish scene, The Spudguns (made up of Thomas Wakely, Adam Burke, Kalebh Grocock and brothers Eoin and Kealan Power) are guided by a defiant DIY ethos – carving out their own idiosyncratic sound from their studio in Arklow, Co. Wicklow.
They've already brought their eclectic, garage-rock-inspired music to venues across the country, organising shows/performing in the likes of The Harbour Bar in Bray, Fibber Magees in Dublin, and Fred Zeppelins in Cork.
'Dusty', their first release, was recorded in-house by Céin O’Dowd of Peer Pleasure, and mastered by Ivan Jackman of Hellfire Studio.
'Dusty' is out this Friday. Tickets for The Spudguns' single launch show in Anseo are €10, and are available here.
