The Mary Stokes Band announce Halloween show
Tickets for the band's last 2025 show are on-sale now.
The Mary Stokes Band have announced their final performance of the year, set for Arthur's Blues & Jazz Club on Halloween Night (October 31).
"It has been a busy and productive year starting with an acoustic show as part of Nollaig na MBan Festival Dublin, with Sarah Michelle and Muireann Bradley, followed by the release of Hometown Blues and the enormous amount of international airplay it has garnered," said the band.
"We performed numerous shows and made special appearances with Whole Lotta Zepp, Trouble Pilgrims, and Misty Blues."
"Our ‘Mean Old World Tour’ gathered momentum with appearances at the RORY GALLAGHER INTERNATIONAL TRIBUTE FESTIVAL with Grainne Duffy and Paul Sherry, Arthur's Blues'n'Jazz Club, The Baggot Street Blues Festival, the Dublin Blues, Roots and Brass Festival in Whelan's, the Howth Roots and Blues, where Mary Stokes hosted ‘Women in Blues’ and finally back in Arthur’s for Halloween."
Lead by singer Stokes and harmonica player Brian Palm, group has been a force in the Irish blues scene for over 25 years. They have performed with artists such as John Lee Hooker, BB King, Bo Diddley, Fats Domino, and Taj Mahal.
