The Máirtín O'Connor Band are performing several shows this summer
The trio will be performing Monday April 24th at Glór in Ennis, The Belltable in Limerick on May 5th, Tullamore on May 19th, and the Town Hall Theatre Galway on June 10th.
The formidable musical relationship of Máirtín O'Connor, Cathal Hayden and Seamie O'Dowd has been going from strength to strength since 2001 under the guise of The Máirtín O'Connor Band.
Although recognisable figureheads of the tradition as individuals, they have, over the years, earned a reputation as musicians with astounding skill, diversity and virtuosity. The trio are renowned for their ability to produce vibrant and musically charged experiences that have been known to redefine one’s perception of perfection.
Beginning Monday April 24th the trio will perform at Glór in Ennis, they will also play The Belltable in Limerick on May 5th, Tullamore on May 19th, ending at the Town Hall Theatre Galway on June 10th.
These concerts will run as part of a weekend masterclass programme in association with Music Generation. The Máirtín O'Connor Band will be joined on stage by some of the young musicians who participated in the masterclass.
