The Lightning Seeds announce Irish tour
It's time to forgive him for 'Three Lions'!
The Lightning Seeds return to live duty in May when they play Dolan’s, Limerick (8); The Academy, Dublin (9); and the Spring & Airbrake, Belfast (10).
When we say “they”, we really mean “he” because the band is essentially Liverpool pop veteran Ian Broudie who, after a nine-year absence, revived the Lightning Seeds name last year with the much-underrated Four Winds album.
And, no, even though the World Cup will be only a matter of weeks away, we don’t expect him to play ‘Three Lions’.
