The Lemmy Foundation is seeking financial backing for property in Stradbally
A foundation to honour the late-Motorhead bassist and singer, Lemmy Kilmister is seeking financial support in order to acquire a property in Stradbally, Co. Laois.
The Lemmy Foundation: Stay Clean was set up by artist and former-Hawkwind dancer Stacia Blake and at present, she is looking for “like-minded people to stand for us and help us purchase the building.”
The aim of the foundation will be to support struggling artists and musicians, with the building being used as a space for performances and creative development. “It will be owned by the people. We need to raise this money quickly”, Blake added.
