The Frames announce local support acts for their grassroots venues tour
The sold-out tour will see the band play Spirit Store, Dundalk; Dolan’s Warehouse, Limerick; DeBarras, Clonakilty; and Cleeres, Kilkenny.
The Frames have revealed the support artists for their intimate run of shows in Dundalk, Limerick, Clonakilty, and Kilkenny.
Handpicked to reflect the diversity of Ireland’s thriving music scene, each night will feature an upcoming artist from the local area.
Indie-folk singer Rowen Murphy will join the band in Dundalk, guitarist Sean O'Meara will play Limerick, indie-folk band Incricate will perform in Clonakilty, and alt-folk singer ELISE will finish off the line-up in Kilkenny.

The Frames tour has been organised as part of a larger ongoing discussion about the challenges these venues face to continue to host high-quality shows.
“These are the rooms... where we learn to tell stories and learn the magic of the intimate spaces. Only from there can we take it to a bigger stage with any confidence,” said Glen Hansard.
Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport Patrick O’Donovan said that he "understands the vital role that grassroots venues play in Ireland’s cultural, creative and music ecosystem."
"In recognition of their importance, I launched the Grassroots Music Venue Support Scheme last year to help protect and sustain these venues," said O'Donovan.
“I am committed to supporting this important network and a second scheme is due to operate in 2026, which again will be open to independent venues nationwide to support their vital cultural activity.”
Through the tour, organisers also aim to help build momentum and implement practical solutions, including a cultural status protection for Ireland's established grassroots venues, a levy on large-scale and stadium tickets to support grassroots venues, VAT abolition and a business rates reform.
The Frames are also part of the line-up for Hot Press's History In The Making: The Concert at Dublin's 3Arena on Friday, February 6.
