The Divine Comedy score highest new entry on this week's Official Irish Albums Chart
Charmed Life: The Best Of The Divine Comedy is also the week's best-selling album on physical and digital downloads.
The Divine Comedy have scored this week's highest new entry on the Official Irish Albums Chart – with Charmed Life: The Best Of The Divine Comedy coming in at No.5.
Released on February 4, Charmed Life was also the best-selling album of the week on physical and digital downloads – and is Neil Hannon's tenth Top 50 album.
A career-spanning 24-track collection of hit singles and fan favourites, the 'Best Of' compilation was remastered at Abbey Road, and was curated by Hannon himself.
Elsewhere on the chart, Olivia Rodrigo enjoys a 16th non-consecutive week at No.1 with SOUR. She's followed by Ed Sheeran with = (No. 2), Dermot Kennedy with Without Fear (No.3) and Adele with 30 (No.4).
Mitski's sixth studio album, Laurel Hell, meanwhile, debuts at No.7.
On the Official Irish Singles Chart, 'We Don't Talk About Bruno', from the soundtrack of Disney's Encanto. holds onto its position at No.1.
Lost Frequencies and Calum Scott's 'Where Are You Now' rises to No.2, followed by Gayle's 'abcdefu' at No.3, Belters Only's 'Make Me Feel Good' featuring Jazzy at No.4, and Sam Fender's 'Seventeen Going Under' at No.5.
