On September 9, The Cure took to their social media to change their previous profile pictures for one comprised of a new logo with an all-black background.
Guitarist Reeves Gabrels directed fans to the band's restructured website via social media, encouraging them to sign up for The Cure's mailing list.
Some fans have interpreted this to be a teaser for an album to come, or possibly an announcement of a return, which the postcards have seemingly confirmed.
