The Ards International Guitar Festival kicks off this week
The festival will run this week for five days in various venues.
With an eclectic mix of brilliant local talent and international artists, this year’s festival is packed with events ranging from classical, folk, jazz, bluegrass and rock from some of the best guitar talent around.
Taking place in various venues surrounding Newtownards, the festival gives you the chance to hear some of the greatest guitarists from around the globe play and perform different genres and styles.
Names include a true master of classical acoustic guitar Australian-born Craig Ogden (pictured), Martin Simpson who has been nominated 31 times for the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and the acoustic maestro Thomas Leeb.
