Test Icicles bring their cool to Crawdaddy
The band that are second only to Ham Sandwich in the naff name department, Test Icicles, pay a visit to Dublin for a show in Crawdaddy.
By the time they play on December 9 you will have been able to feast on For Screening Purposes Only, their debut album which has been variously described as “deranged disco metal”, “genre munching mega racket” and “chaotic noise-hop.”
All three are pretty accurate, with the Anglo-Scots-American outfit making for decidedly uneasy listening. But in a good way!
Also confirming a Crawdaddy visit on November 9 are King Creosote, aka Scottish maverick Kenny Anderson who’s joined for the night by Jose Gonzalez.
