Paddy, Seamus and Kevin Glackin reunite for the first time in years to open the 2009 Temple Bar TradFest on January 29.
Next year's Temple Bar TradFest runs from January 28 - February 1, with celeb trad fan Stephen Rea acting as festival patron.
Gig highlights include Paddy, Seamus and Kevin Glackin in the Project Arts Centre, American trad group Solas in the Button Factory (January 29), and what promises to be a beautiful performance from Maighread Ní Dhomhnaill, Tríona Ní Domhnaill, Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh & Moya Brennan, who play the Button Factory on January 31.
TradFest will also feature an extended programme of films, workshops and more, including the short animated film 'Yu Ming Is Ainm Dom' and Stephen Rea's Fluent Dysphasia, both of which deal with our relationship with the Irish language. Both films will be screened from January 28-31 in Meeting House Square. The IFI, meanwhile, will show two critically lauded music documentaries: Bringing It All Back Home and From Shore To Shore.

And there's also a strong outdoor element to the festival, with a ceilí in Meeting House Square on February 1, featuring the Tulla Ceilí band and Ceoltas Ceoltoiri Eireann.
