Tadhg Williams adds Dublin date to upcoming tour
Tickets go on sale on Ticketmaster from Friday May 9 at 9am
Waterford songwriter Tadhg Williams is scheduled to play a headline show in the Grand Social Ballroom on June 19, 2025.
The show is the latest date added to his upcoming This Tour is A Nixer tour, which follows Williams' release of his debut EP This Record is a Nixer in late 2024.
The EP showcased Williams' lyricism and sensitivity around challenging subject matter. It also included the wartime ballad 'Frank Edwards,' which was listed as one of Hot Press' 50 Best Tracks of 2024.
The artist has seen his songs played across Ireland and the UK, notably receiving support from the BBC, RTÉ, Today FM, and Radio Nova.
Williams, who has previously supported acts like Kingfishr, Hermitage Green, and The Coronas, said he is loving his live shows: "I’ve a real itch to just play, people have been good to me - every show I’m seeing familiar faces, and new ones. It genuinely feels like I’m building a community.”
On his upcoming Grand Social gig he said "It will be the biggest room I’ve played in Dublin to date, so hopefully we can pack the place out and share something special.”
Other stops on the tour include Belfast (May 8), Limerick (June 6), Galway (June 8), and Kilkenny (July 11), among others.
Tickets for all of Williams' tour dates can be found here.
