Sweet Jayne issues appeal after Fender Jaguar guitar stolen from car in Dublin
The thief was caught on CCTV fleeing the scene around 7am
Sweet Jayne has issued an appeal following her car being broken into on Dublin's Fleet St. in the early hours of Saturday morning and her Fender guitar being stolen.
The thief was caught on CCTV and is known to Gardaí in the area.
The make of guitar was Fender Player II Jaguar RW, Polar White. In the appeal Jayne noted that this particular model was of sentimental value to her.
"My vehicle was broken into in @qparkie on Fleet St in the early hours of the morning, if anyone sees my beautiful fender jaguar guitar come up on adverts or in shop please let me know," said Jayne on Instagram.
"A number of other items were stolen, but this guitar has immense sentimental value as well as being quite valuable monetarily."
The Dublin based artist asked if anyone has any information or uncovers the whereabouts of her guitar, to get in contact.
"There is CCTV footage of him leggin it around 7 AM. It’s probably already been pawned, so if yiz hear anything at all give me a shout," added Jayne.
Sweet Jayne's band Tarzaan released their latest single, 'STARS & STRIPES', last month. Over the years, the multi-instrumentalist has worked and played with the likes of The Chieftains, Frankie Gavin and Bricknasty, to name a few.
