The Strokes announce February Belfast gig
The iconic indie rockers will play Waterfront Hall and tickets go on sale tomorrow morning.
The Strokes have just announced a show at Waterfront Hall in Belfast on Monday, February 24. It's part of a slew of last-minute European gigs the band announced today, including one on February 14 in Berlin and one in Paris on February 18.
2020 is set to be a big year for the iconic New York indie rockers. Frontman Julian Casablancas announced during a New Year's Eve show in New York City that they plan on releasing a new album soon, and the band premiered a new song called 'Ode to the Mets.' Though the band's members have been individually active, the Strokes' last release together was the Future Present Past EP in 2016 and their last full-length was Comedown Machine in 2013.
The Strokes' last Irish gig was a headlining set at Electric Picnic last summer. Read Hot Press' review of the performance here.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Feburary 5 at 10am.
