Stillroom EP giveaway with local newspaper

Lickin’ A Promise is released on August 11 to coincide with a free copy of it being given away with The Echo newspaper, the first time an unsigned independent Irish band has linked up with a local paper in this way. The tie-up will see the Stillroom EP go to over 13,000 readers throughout the greater Dublin region.

Reviewing the Stillroom EP in a recent issue of Hot Press, Jackie Hayden spotted influences as wide-ranging as Bon Jovi, Judas Priest and Rory Gallagher.

During the last two years, Stillroom have visited LA to play shows on the famous Sunset Strip, including The Cat Club, Whiskey A Go-Go and The Roxy. After winning the Irish Emergenza Final in Vicar St. the band represented Ireland in the World Final at the Taubertal Open-air Festival in Germany.

Stillroom have had their track 'Maneater' featured in the US film Frenchie Goes to Hollywood, which was screened at the Monaco Film Festival, and their video for 'Stick To Your Guns' has been aired on 3e.
