Steve Lacy announces new album Oh Yeah? and shares lead single 'the feeling'

Steve Lacy has announced his third studio album, Oh Yeah?, set for release on July 17.

Oh Yeah? marks Lacy's first full-length project since his 2022 album Gemini Rights. Lacy wrote, performed, and produced the entirety of the upcoming album himself.

The announcement comes alongside the release of the album’s second single, ‘the feeling,’ which was shared today, accompanied by a music video.

The music video for 'the feeling' is directed by Matt Castellanos, who also collaborated on Lacy's Grammy-nominated song 'Bad Habit'.

As described in the press release, the album is "The culmination of a four-year journey whereupon Steve found himself feeling at home in foreign countries and situations and less at home at home. Taking the reins of the production, writing, performance, and the creative, Steve eventually found his way back.”

‘the feeling' follows the release of the album's first single, ‘Nice Shoes,’ which debuted last August.
