Steely Dan To Return To Dublin With New Tour
The jazz-rock outfit last appeared on these shores in late 2017.
Steely Dan have announced today that they will close out their UK and Ireland arena tour in Dublin following dates in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London. The full list of dates and venues are listed below.
The decorated band, who have won four Grammy awards, including an Album of The Year in 2000 for 'Two Against Nature', will be joined by special guest Steve Winwood, the acclaimed vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, producer and Grammy-winner in his own right.
Without founding member Walter Becker, who sadly passed away in September 2017, Steely Dan have an extensive back catalogue to showcase. Added to the aforementioned Grammy awards, their 1972 record ‘Can’t Buy A Thrill’ was placed at number 145 by Rolling Stone in their 500 albums of all time list, while the also acclaimed 'Aja’ was their first platinum selling project.
Tickets for Steely Dan with special guest Steve Winwood at the 3Arena go on sale on at 10am on Friday September 7th from Ticketmaster.ie.
