St. Vincent has scored Kirsten Stewart's short film Come Swim
St. Vincent has provided the score for Kristen Stewart’s new short film, Come Swim, which will premiere at the Sundance Festival next year.
This will be the first time that Twilight actor Kirsten Stewart has been behind the camera in a directing role.
St. Vincent previously penned several tracks for the soundtracks of the Twilight saga, teaming up with Bon Iver to record 'Roslyn' for New Moon and 'The Antidote' for Breaking Dawn Pt. 2.
Come Swim “was made as part of Refinery29’s female filmmaker-focused Shatterbox Anthology series”, according to Stereogum.
It has been described as “a diptych of one man’s day, half impressionist and half realist portraits”.
The American art-rock singer announced the news on Twitter, also confirming that her own horror short, which she directed and co-wrote, would be premiered at the Sundance in January.
