SPRINTS and Chalk to support IDLES on upcoming UK and Ireland tour
Irish bands Chalk and SPRINTS join Angélica García, Battles, Genesis Owusu, Lambrini Girls and Willie J Healy on IDLES' upcoming UK and Ireland tour.
It has been announced that Irish bands Chalk and SPRINTS will join Bristol rockers IDLES on their upcoming UK and Ireland LOVE IS THE FING tour.
Belfast post punk outfit Chalk will be joining IDLES on the Irish leg of the tour, opening for the band's Belfast and Dublin dates.
IDLES will play Belfast's Telegraph Building on November 16 and 17 and Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre on November 19 and 20.
Chalk will open for the band on all four of these dates.
Sharing the announcement on social media, Chalk said: "We are supporting the legends that are IDLES on their Irish dates this November.
"We cannot bloody wait for this. See you all very soon"

Dublin garage rock band SPRINTS were also part of the line up of diverse acts announced as support for IDLES' LOVE IS THE FING tour.
The Irish band will open for IDLES at Cardiff, Castle on July 12 and at Halifax in The Piece Hall on July 13.
American singer songwriter Angélica Garcia will also be joining SPRINTS as special guests for the Cardiff and Halifax dates.
The LOVE IS THE FING tour comes off the back of IDLES' fifth album TANGK, released in February of this year.
In the 7/10 Hot Press review for the album, TANGK was described as: "Serving as a brief crack of light for these dark days, the LP is all about everyone’s favourite four letter word – love".
All four of the Bristol band's November Irish dates are sold out, however the group are billed to open for LCD Soundsystem at their Malahide gig on June 26.
Tickets are still available for purchase here.
