South by Southwest announces initial list of invited acts

The South By Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival deadline for band applications is fast approaching. Applicants who apply before November 5 will be in with the chance of performing for nearly 13,000 industry representatives, over 2,000 media members, and of course the many fans in attendance over the course of the famous festival (March 16 - 20, 2011). In the meantime, SXSW has announced an initial list of performers who'll flaunt their wares at the festival. Among those set to perform on this hugely diverse list are Ebony Bones, Erykah Badu, Jon Fratelli, Plan B, Bombay Bicycle Club, Cast, A Place To Bury Strangers, Ed Harcourt, and many more.
