Sofi Tukker to perform in Dublin
The genre-defying duo of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern are coming to Vicar Street, Dublin, this coming November.
The American artists known together as Sofi Tukker are celebrated for their inclusive and global perspective on electronic music. Their music often deals with topics such as liberation, unity, and self-empowerment, and are considered passionate activists who have raised funds and awareness for Planned Parenthood, The Trevor Project, and the March for Our Lives.
Their debut single ‘Drinkee’ was nominated for a Best Dance Recording Grammy and their debut album Treehouse earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Sofi Tukker’s records hold the honour of having achieved Gold or Platinum status on every continent other than Antarctica.
Their electric and energetic live show has sold out venues and graced major festival stages across the planet, as well as having also performed on major TV shows throughout the world.
