Soda Blonde reschedule Dublin and Belfast gigs for February
Due to the latest Covid-19 guidelines for indoor gigs, Soda Blonde will now play their Dublin and Belfast shows next year.
Although the majority of their December gigs will now not be going ahead, Soda Blonde can confirm that their shows at Whelan's in Dublin and The Empire in Belfast will now take place in February instead.
They were originally due to play Dublin's capital on December 9 and 16, but their hometown gigs are now scheduled for February 5 and 6 with all original tickets sold valid for the new dates.
The group's Belfast show will also now take place on February 17.
Soda Blonde was formed after the break-up of Little Green Cars by four of the original members and dropped their debut album Small Talk earlier this year.
Hot Press' Pat Carty gave it a rave review on release, writing "This album has more hooks than an angler’s tackle bag and each track earns its spot under that neon light. Everyone else should heed O’Rourke’s advice from amongst those gorgeous strings of ‘Tiny Darkness’ and 'get with the programme' because Small Talk is a big deal."
You can check out photos from their recent gig at SoFFT Nights in Meath here.
Soda Blonde will now play Whelan's in Dublin on February 5 and 6 and The Empire in Belfast on the 17th.
Tickets for all of their shows are on sale now from Ticketmaster.
