Ahead of the release of their highly anticipated sixth studio album, Spare Ribs, Sleaford Mods have announced a gig at the Olympia Theatre, Dublin on November 21, as part of their Ireland & UK Tour.
"We're gagging for a gig," the acclaimed electronic/punk duo posted on Twitter this morning. "Get it in the diary. It's gunna be mega!"

Spare Ribs, out on January 15 via Rough Trade, features Amy Taylor of Melbourne punks Amyl and The Sniffers and hotly tipped newcomer Billy Nomates.
“Our lives are expendable under most governments, secondary under a system of monetary rule," Sleaford Mods' Jason Williamson says of the new album. "We are stock if you like, parts on a shelf for the purposes of profit, discarded at any moment if fabricated or non-fabricated crisis threatens productivity. This is constant, obviously and notably in the current pandemic. The masses cannot be present in the minds of ill-fitting leaders, surely? Or else the realisation of their catastrophic management would cripple their minds. Much like the human body can still survive without a full set of ribs we are all 'spare ribs’, preservation for capitalism, through ignorance and remote rule, available for parts."
Tickets for Sleaford Mods' Olympia Theatre gig are €29, and go on sale on Friday, January 15, at 10am.
