Sack and special guests Pony Club to play The Grand Social
The Dublin lads are poised to make a comeback.
The five-piece Irish band are all set to appear at their first Electric Picnic. In preparation for this performance, they are going to treat their fans to a pre Picnic appetizer in The Grand Social on Friday 2 September, with the wonderful Pony Club as special guests.
Sack were one of the signature Indie-rock sounds of the '90s. If you are unfamiliar with the band, then think snippets of Morrissey or as the band describe themselves: "Frank Sinatra fronting the Pixies".
In fact, both the Sacks and Pony have supported their icon, Morrissey, on his US and European tours.
With new material in the works, the Dublin lads are using this gig as a launchpad back into the world of showbiz.
Tickets will be on sale for €12 or www.tickets.ie
Not to be missed if you're a fan of interesting, guitar based Indie music.
