Ruth Negga announced for Shakespeare's Hamlet directed by Yael Farber, at the Gate Theatre

Ruth Nega is an Ethiopian-born Irish actress who first came to the scene with her role in 2004's 'Capital Letters', 2005's 'Isolation' and 'Breakfast on Pluto' later that year. More recently she has gained fame in RTE's Love Hate and the BBC mini-series 'Criminal Justice.'

The second gig to be announced in The Gate is the story of one of the most elaborate and decadent summer houses, famous for it's parties. Jay Gatsby opens the doors of his mansion once again... The critically acclaimed, award-winning, sell-out immersive experience, The Great Gatsby, returns to the Gate this Christmas and will bring us into 2019.
