Rubberbandits to Bring New Show “Gammon Wranglers” to Dublin and Belfast
The Limerick duo will be performing in Vicar Street in Dublin on Saturday September 30 and Mandela Hall in Belfast on Saturday October 7.
The Rubberbandits first rose to fame in 2010 when their video “Horse Outside” went viral. Since then, they have won awards for their comedy and their music, with “Horse Outside” securing an IFTA in 2010 with The Republic of Telly for the RTE Guide’s Best TV Moments of 2010.
Over the past year, the comedy duo have been busy working on music for Trainspotting 2, as well as having a new series of documentaries on RTE. Their last tour, ‘Continental Fistfight’, sold out over 60 nights in the UK and the Limerick artists have been working on their new show to follow on from this success, promising new sketches and new songs.
Tickets are priced at €27 for the Dublin gig and £18 for the Belfast show. Tickets go on sale Thursday June 8 at 9am from Ticketmaster and all usual outlets nationwide.
