Roisin Murphy shares '70s-inspired music video for 'Narcissus'
Disco is back!
Roisin Murphy takes us back to the '70s in her new music video for 'Narcissus'. The video as well as the song draw heavy inspiration from disco music as the singer sports a long bowl cut while her dance moves are highlighted by colourful visual effects.
The song, which was released earlier this month, sees her reunite with frequent collaborator Richard Barratt aka DJ Parrot.
Murphy said in a press release, "This project was always meant to be about House and Disco, it's always had a strong identity. It's about the moment when the high kicks in, about trying to find the components of euphoria, however counter-intuitive those experiments might be. And it's beginning to feel like the time is right to draw it all together into a bigger thing."
