Rifles to play October headline show in Dublin's Workman's Club
All previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the new date.
British indie outfit the Rifles will be performing this Autumn in The Workman’s Club, on Friday, 8th October 2021. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster.ie and Tickets.ie now at €16.00.
Rising to popularity in the mid-2000s with their jaunty garage rock & roll sound – equal parts Jam-like swagger and a playfulness not unlike contemporaries The Kooks, the band grabbed public attention with 2005's 'Local Boy'.
The group found chart success in the latter part of the decade with their first two albums reaching number two on the U.K. indie charts. Amid subsequent rock-oriented releases like 2014’s None the Wiser, the Rifles also embraced the acoustic format, releasing a pair of acoustic EPs and a 2017 unplugged album which they recorded at the famed Abbey Road studios.
