The Rapper has now cancelled his upcoming tour of New Zealand and Australia on foot of the allegation made against him.
An Australian woman named Eliza Stafford recently stepped forward to claim on Facebook that she was raped by "by a man whose stage name is ‘RiFF RAFF'” back in 2013.
Since claiming she was raped by the raper, a second woman named Kelsey Doucette has also come forward to alleged that she too was sexually assaulted by the rapper some three years ago.
Eliza wrote: “I was offered a shot from a (branded) vodka bottle that was sitting on the table. I was offered a 60 ML ‘party’ shot. I took the shot, it was syrup and I immediately asked what it was. RiFF RAFF and his support act told me that it was codeine and started laughing. I don’t remember anything from that point.”
Eliza Stafford also wrote: “Another girl who had been backstage with me told them that I had been coerced to get in to a car with Riff Raff and his support act.”
“I woke up as Riff raff was pulling out of me and getting in to the shower. I crawled – truly, on all fours -out of the hotel room and managed to get outside where I booked a taxi who wouldn’t take me because I was 'too drunk.'"
She concluded: “If you are planning on attending the Riff Raff show at the corner next week I urge you to reconsider”.
Riff Raff has yet to publicly comment about the rape claims. One venue that immediately cancelled one his upcoming gigs stated: "The Corner & High Fi Events take allegations of sexual assault very seriously, and we have therefore cancelled Riff Raff’s upcoming show.
"As a venue, we prioritise a safe and inclusive environment and we want anyone who has experienced any incident of sexual harassment or assault to know that we are listening and will support you.”
