Reevah releases new single 'wildflower'
The artist's new track is a meditation on the human condition, loss, and self-reflection.
Derry-based, indie-pop artist Reevah has dropped a brand new single, 'wildflower', today (July 15). This is second single from Reevah's upcoming EP, recorded against the idyllic backdrop of the Beekeeper's residence in Co. Clare.
This piano ballad, with cello by Laura McFadden, is a reflective, vulnerable statement from the artist. Lyrics like "loving you was easy, but letting go was heartache" reflect Reevah's uncanny ability to create a good hook, while the artist's crystal clear vocals create an intimate and memorable performance.
“The Beekeeper’s residence in Co. Clare was the ideal setting to revisit wildflower. The natural imagery and wilderness is something that is reflected lyrically in this track, whilst delivering a very real message about the human condition, loss, and self-reflection," said Reevah of the new track.
