Red Hot Chili Peppers to play Phoenix Park
Next summer is already shaping up to be huge, with the Red Hot Chili Peppers confirming a gig at Phoenix Park
NEWSFLASH! Having stuffed 80,000 very satisfied people into Slane Castle last summer, the Red Hot Chili Peppers return for more of the same in Dublin's Phoenix Park on Saturday June 12 2004.
Tickets, which are limited to six person, go on sale on Monday December 22 priced €59.50. With the 80,000 of the blighters disappearing in under three hours last time, we wouldn't dilly. Or indeed dally.
Enthuses singer Anthony Kiedis: "The band can't wait to get back to Ireland. Irish fans are amazing, the best in the world. It's the ultimate adrenaline rush."
Meanwhile, if you're looking for a stocking filler for the Chili Pepper fan in your life, their Live At Slane 2003 DVD is in the shops now.
