Raglans release Christmas song in aid of Human Appeal

Raglans are raising funds for Human Appeal - a charity which helps people from impoverished and war-torn areas - with their new single 'Christmas Number One (On My Own)'.

Following on from their recently released, critically acclaimed EP Again & Again the Dublin foursome took some time after their recent European tour to record the track on a whim.

Speaking about the song, the band said: "The song's been sitting in our pile for a few years and we have usually been too busy or too preoccupied with Christmas itself to get around to recording it, this year however after a long tour where we had amazing times with an array of incredible people we felt the urge to get it finished and released. We decided to give the proceeds in aid of Humanappeal.ie, a non-profit organisation working across the globe to strengthen humanity in the face of poverty, social injustice and natural disaster.

"We loved making it and threw the kitchen sink at it in the process, it is Christmas after all! So turn it up and enjoy and if you buy it, thank you and Happy Christmas."
