Rachid Taha rescheduled dates
Algeria's answer to Johnny Cash reschedules his Irish gig dates.
Due to emigration difficulties Hot Press pick of the Fortnight, Rachid Taha, has had to postpone his Irish tour dates. He will now play Vicar St, Dublin, on November 24 and The Half Moon Theatre, Cork, on December 8.
Tickets for the original shows are, of course, still valid.
Hot Press highly recommends a look-see at Taha's live shows, if only for the chance to witness his acclaimed 'Rock El Casbah', a furious Arabic cover of the Clash classic.
Rai, Punk, Electro, this is world music of an appeal never seen before.
