Public Image Ltd. announce first album in 8 years with 'Penge'
Public Image Ltd. will embark on a UK & European tour that will cover 38 dates.
Public Image Ltd. are making their grand return with new album End of the World, which is set to arrive on August 11th after their last LP in 2015 - What the World Needs Now.
The announcement follows the sudden passing of lead singer John Lydon’s beloved wife Nora Forster on April 5th.
PiL have decided to continue plans to announce their 11th studio album End of World, following the sad passing of John's wife Nora Forster. End of World will be released on 11th August followed by a 38-date UK & European Tour.

Public Image Ltd. recently competed to represent Ireland at Eurovision 2023 with their single ‘Hawaii,’ which was focused on a positive memory between Sex Pistols former band member Lydon and late wife Forster. The song follows their time in Hawaii and has allowed other people to connect with the song.
The band’s website mentioned, “A pensive, personal yet universal love song that will resonate with many, the song sees John reflecting on their lifetime well spent and in particular one of their happiest moments together in Hawaii.”
To celebrate the announcement of the new project, PiL also released another single ‘Penge’ and information about the new album’s tour in the UK and Europe. Presale tickets for the 38 tour dates are now available.
