Prime time for Damien Rice in the US
American readers that missed out on tickets for his sold-out tour with The Frames can catch Damien Rice up close and personal with David Letterman tonight
Damien Rice meteoric rise shows no signs of abating with the Celbridge man appearing on The Late Show With David Letterman (CBS, April 14) and The Jonathan Ross Show (BBC1, May 7).
Along with these high profile telly slots, fans can also check out the new video for 'Cannonball' by clicking here.
There's also the small matter of his tour with The Frames which has sold-out in Boston, Toronto, Chicago and New York where he's just announced a second Beacon Theater date on May 3. Support on this occasion will be provided by BellX1 who played a blinder last night at the Hot Press Yearbook launch in The Village.
Thoroughly decent egg that he is, Rice plays a special Rock For A Remedy Food Drive gig at the Higher Ground, Winooski, Vermont on April 20. Fans are asked to bring non-perishable foodstuffs with them which will be distributed to deserving local families.
