PREMIERE: Stepping On Lego shares video for new single 'An Honest Lie'

Following the release of 'An Honest Lie' earlier this month, Stepping On Lego, the electro-pop project of Co. Mayo artist Conor Waters, is back with the official lyric video for the single.

When he's not crafting irresistible pop tracks, Conor is kept busy as a doctor on the frontlines – originally penning 'An Honest Lie' after a hard day at work. He notes that he has "always relied heavily on music as a refuge".

"The message of 'An Honest Lie' is to always be true to yourself and be true to what you want in life," he says. "Balancing music and my job has always been a challenge. I wrote 'An Honest Lie' as an appreciation to the amount of happiness music brings me. I realised I need to be to myself, I need to fight to keep music in my life and embrace the challenge."

A classically trained pianist, his Stepping On Lego project sees Conor drawing influence from M83, CHVRCHES and Radiohead. While studying Medicine in NUI Galway, he played the keyboard in acclaimed Irish band Rofi James.
