Plays Well with Others
The Coldspoon Conspiracy have made steady progess in both Chicago and Glasgow in addition to their hometown, building up a substantial profile. The Dubliners have enlisted the recording savvy of Rod Bochnik, responsible for engineering duties with Smog, Shellac and The Breeders.

Plays Well With Others is a raw and rugged record with enough hooks and quirks to steer it clear from a lo-fi cul de sac. Darren Craig’s vocals add a distinctive stamp to their sound over some terrific languorous guitar wig outs. The titles are fantastic with the likes of ‘You Cannot Get Into A Description Of A Car And Drive Away’ and ‘How Many Ts In Bloodletting’ displaying both imagination and a sense of humour. Recorded in three days, sufficent attention to detail has been applied to Plays Well With Others so that it sounds fresh and invigorating rather than rushed and ill-considered. This album is sure to play well in any circumstance.
