Picture This sell out all 3Arena dates
The Athy band are set to post more incredible numbers.
When Picture This first announced via a press conference held a couple of weeks ago that they would be headlining Dublin's 3Arena a whopping five times in March 2019, sceptics would have been forgiven for potentially raising a dubious eyebrow at such an incredibly ambitious number.
However Ireland's current biggest selling act of 2018 have more than silenced any would-be detractors with the news today that they have sold out all shows from March 27th to 31st, as well as international dates in New York, Los Angeles, London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.
The news comes as another feather in the cap for the band, whose ascension since their debut album last year has been staggering. Their self-titled record arrived in August 2017, and proceeded to hold the No. 1 spot in the Irish Album Chart for four weeks, top the Streaming Chart for seven weeks, and remain in the top five for thirty-eight consecutive weeks. All of which contributed to the album's now triple-platinum status in Ireland.
Their anticipated sophomore effort, MDRN LV, is set for release on the 15th of February 2019, with the subsequent tour acting as support for it. The first single from the album, 'One Drink', dropped last week and gives fans an indication of what to expect from MDRN LV, which Picture This have promised will display an expansion upon their style and see them "venture into uncharted sonic territory".
