PICNIC IS HERE: A Classic Interview With The 1975

Indie-rock band The 1975 have played sold-out gigs across the world and first performed at Electric Picnic back in 2014, now they're returning to play the Main Stage.

Back at the beginning of 2016,The 1975 offered us their second album, I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It, which took them, and us, in a new direction from their debut album, blending heartfelt love lyrics with experimental electronics in a more focused, coherent shape. Ahead of their show today, we go back to February when the band gave a candid interview to Colm O'Regan after the release of that album.
