Phoebe Bridgers announces new album Lost Weekend
The much-anticipated follow up to Punisher is set for release on August 14.
Phoebe Bridgers has announced her third studio album, Lost Weekend, arriving on August 14 via Dead Oceans.
The announcement follows a series of phone-free concerts held in New York’s Madison Square Garden, where she performed a substantial portion of the upcoming record.
“If any of you figured out how to stick an Apple Watch up your ass and record,” she told fans during her show, “please don’t put it on the internet.”
Earlier this month, she announced two sold-out 3Arena shows on November 23 and 24 as part of her world tour.
No further details about the new album were revealed, although internet rumours have circulated that say she has been working with Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Jack Antonoff and Alex G.

The album represents her first original material since the release of boygenius’ the record in 2023, and her first solo album since Punisher in 2020.
the record was given an 8/10 by Hot Press in its album review.
“the record opener ‘Without You Without Them’ transforms the boygenius listener into an eavesdropper of an intimate triple part harmony, one that boasts a Carter family vibe,” it read.
“Across the ‘90s retro, lo-fi feel of ‘Emily I’m Sorry,’ and the crisscrossing Kerouac-indebted ‘True Blue’, boygenius ensnare the joy of wasteful detours.
“They also alluringly capture fleeting celestial moments, such as on ‘Leonard Cohen’, while driving the wrong way on the interstate listening to Iron & Wine, reckoning on lost wandering being loaded with purpose.”
You can pre-order Lost Weekend on her website.
